Your name, address and telephone number are confidential and will not be available in your profile. Your viewable profile does not include any identifying information about you. However if you are a paying member, you will receive a MatchedUp.com e-mail account and when you send an introductory e-mail through the system to another member, that e-mail address is included in that note so that the recipient can respond to you. If you are a paying member, you will be required to provide us with your credit card information. This information will be entered in a Secured Server and is Verisign Approved. We use this financial information, including your name, address, and other information for billing purposes.

Data Collection "Cookies" are placed on certain areas of our site. Cookies are small files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing customized services. Members Information

Under no circumstances can you provide any of your own personal contact information on your profile or disclose personal contact information about another member to any third party without our consent and the consent of such other member after adequate disclosure. MatchedUp.com and our members do not tolerate spam. Therefore, without limiting the foregoing, you are not licensed to add a MatchedUp.com member, to your mailing list (e-mail or physical mail) without their express written consent after adequate disclosure.

Changing Your Profile

Following registration, you can review and change the information you submitted during registration through the Settings and Account Information Menu including your password and e-mail address. If you change your password and e-mail we keep track of your old password and e-mail. You can also change your registration information such as: name, address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, profile, likes and dislikes, desired date profile, essays, save search criteria, your pictures, billing information, etc.

Use of Your Password

You are responsible for all actions taken with your member ID Number, password and fees. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your MatchedUp.com password or member ID # to any third party. If you choose to share your member ID No and password or your information with third parties to provide you additional services, you are responsible for all actions taken with your member ID # and password and therefore should review that third party's privacy statement. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password or contact MatchedUp.com via e-mail at: customerservice@matchedup.com

MatchedUp.com uses above-industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, including "Firewalls" and Secure Socket Layering technology. MatchedUp.com treats data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. We have developed several different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by members inside and outside the company. MatchedUp.com may change this Privacy Statement from time to time based on your comments and our need to accurately reflect our data collection and disclosure practices. All changes to this policy are effective after we provide you with at least (30) days notice of changes via e-mail.
